In a significant leap forward for healthcare infrastructure in Kasai Oriental, a province of the Democratic Republic of Congo, our ULTRAOX medical oxygen plant was successfully inaugurated on November 3, 2023, at the BONZOLA General Reference Hospital in Mbujimayi, the provincial capital. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of the Deputy Minister of Public Health, Hygiene, and Prevention, Dr. HOLENN Serge Emmanuel.
ULTRAOX, can produce up to 50 cylinders, each containing 50 liters of oxygen, every day. Its significance was underscored by Dr. HOLENN Serge Emmanuel, who emphasized the importance of the plant in addressing local healthcare needs, particularly in times of health crises. He recounted the challenges faced during the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, marked by the Delta variant, which led to a surge in cases and a critical shortage of medical oxygen in Eastern Kasai.
This achievement is not just a milestone for Eastern Kasai but also aligns seamlessly with the vision of Ultra Controlo, a dynamic and innovative team dedicated to making the world a better place through its contributions to healthcare infrastructure.
